Hello and welcome to the Guitar Hero Squeeze-off.
If you know your rivalries, you might remember me from such rivalries as the FGFC Race and The Rivalry of Elite Expert GH Players.
This rivalry is kind of a reboot of the latter. See, I changed the Elite Rivalry to a squeezing rivalry which lost it a few participants, and then I changed it back to the Elite Rivalry. Two people signed up. One quit. I never received standings from the co-admin so I just let the thread die.
So anyways, I though to myself, "What if I start over, from scratch? Since Master-Tesuch kinda took matters into his own hands by creating his own Elite Rivalry (which was a great idea), I figured that I should make a new squezing rivalry.
Here's how it'll work:
Each week, one member will pick one song, according to when they signed up. First person to sign up picks the first song, etc.
You will be awarded points based on your score that you submit. First score only will be accepted, so make it count.
I'm gonna steal from laupow17 the idea of a golf-esque scoring system, The lower the better. First place will get 1 point, second will get 2, etc. If you FC the song, you get 1 point deducted. 100%s... sorry, but no bonus.
I and (hopefully) another admin will maintain the standings each week.
Every month, we will reset the standings and declare a winner for that month.

For song choices, I'm afraid you must have at LEAST two GH games to make the rivalry have a good variety. The songs can be from any GH game, but bear in mind that this is a squeezing rivalry. Don't go picking TTFAF just yet.

You don't! This rivalry is open to everyone and anyone. You will not be turned down because you don't have an optimal, or X amount of FCs, so don't let this factor stop you!

Remember, the fundamental goal of this rivalry is to improve your scores, not necessarily beat the top ones! Competition is awesome so don't be discouraged just because good players are competing alongside you!

The only committment is that you squeeze the song to the best of your ability and submit a score to the CO-ADMIN, NOT ME, each week. Scores will be due 11:59 every Friday, Central Time.

All songs will be played on Expert. I might throw in the occasional hard, though.

It's unfair to think that everyone has a drum set or a mic, so Guitar and Bass are the only options to choose from.

Simply follow the SH rules for this. If someone submitted the same score to you, would you want proof? If you answered yes, then it could be in your best interest to provide proof. I'm pretty flexible so I'll go on a case by case basis.
Of course! Using a path is encouraged in this rivalry. It is a squeeze-off, after all.

sorry, I'm making a custom right now, and GHex literally took up all my system memory and froze my computer for exactly 17 minutes. Otherwise, my reply would have been right away

I have all the games....  But to make it easy for everyone, I will go with GH3, and I'll pick Cities on Flame With Rock n' Roll! Give me an excuse to go for optimal, plus it's a good song.

Alright. Today i got -200 from optimal on CoFWRaR ARGH.
Ill get optimal tomorrow prolly. The squeezes arent hard at all. get optimal now.
