I just tried Wii Freestyle, GHMix, and some drum fills and none of them lagged at all. So, no, I don't have that problem at all.

I play on Wii with a CRT and don't notice any lag. I did lag calibration (for kicks) and got 0 for both. I have not tried Mii Freestyle or GHMix yet though.
