New Version
See the first post for details. Download from TehSkeen (you don't need a login) as SaveFile is down (again).
Hope you get all your World Tour / Metallica and Smash / Greatest Hits hacks working now. Hopefully the datatype bugs will have all been resolved.
I might look in to the THAW datatype when I get a moment.
Cheers,

I'll do it. Just give me a couple of weeks. I have some other stuff I need to do first
Does the TH community know how to decode the scripts/functions? You guys keep requesting that I add this functionality to Queen Bee, but I don't have the time to pick them apart. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks for the interest. _________________

just whenever you find the time. you've done a lot thus far with keeping queenbee as up to date as possible and that in itself is appreciated by the THPS/GH communities and anyone else that finds use in this pak/pab editor.
so far we can de/compile section scripts only. As far as i know no ones figured out what instruction 4A is, but i can tell you this much the sectionscripts can be rewritten using old methods and without using this instruction and will still function properly.
outdated bytecode documentation
CHC says he found a few of the unknowns but you'd have to talk to him about which ones exactly.
The talent at www.hackthps.com will be more than willing to share what information we do know about the qbscripts.
Again Thanks for your time and effort.

I was under the impression that TehSkeen did require a login to download attachments? Unless something changed recently...
Just because I believe in direct download links... :P
v1.9 Direct Link
Anyway, I'll probably throw this into RawkTour soon just to be more compatible. _________________

I can't get this to work with GH: Metallica
I get this error when I try to open the files(both in 1.8 and 1.9):
It's the xbox 360 PAL version of GH:M.
I'm running Windows 7(have tried compadibility mode) and have successfully created custom GH3 qb files with previous versions of QueenBee.
Is it not intended to work with the x360 and GH:M?
I used the files located at DATA\COMPRESSED\PAK
Help greatly appreciated. _________________

It looks like they've changed the PAK compression on GHWT / Metallica etc.
See if you can find a utility to decompress/recompress it and do it manually. When decompressed, you should be able to load the pak/dbg files in using the PC (xen) setting.
Cheers,

^Why does it say in the new features list of 1.9 that it supports GH:M then, if it doesn't? |

It supports the GH:M data types / qb files. Which means you can modify it on systems that don't have this new compression (Wii, for example), or if someone does find out how to properly decompress them on others. _________________

Ah, thanks. What compression did it originally have, so I can get some idea of where to start trying to decompress it? |

It had zlib. I had no idea that the compression had changed as I don't have an xbox360. The only difference between PC and XBOX is that the xbox files are compressed. If you can find out how to (or find someone who can) decompress/recompress then then you can edit them with the PC setting.
Please post any progress you make. Sorry I can't help more.
Cheers,

i believe that the compression is still in zlib. seeing as my zlib manager(which still won't decompress my files) sees them as zlib.
I am at loss here, I can provide the x360 metallica files if you wish. _________________

That looks like a cool app. I may take a look at it in a couple of weeks. I'm a bit busy at the moment. I plan to release the source soon as well.
I'd be happy for anyone to enhance it and take it forward. It already does much more than I needed it for.
Cheers,
