And raise your hand if you wish the end solo was as easy to play in this game as it is on a real guitar ::raises hand:: |
im getting better at the second solo, i get the first 8 measures, then my middle finger just doesn't feel like pushing the buttons anymore _________________

in my opinion the first solo dominates the second, the ending is just ridiculous. the second solo is all about finger strength/endurance, and 7 years experience on guitar is definately helpful there. plus, like i said, its so much easier to play the second solo on guitar, which is what makes it frustrating when i make mistakes. _________________

I'm pretty sure one of the best strategies is simply to be able to get through the first solo (esp. the part with the three progressive scales) without using star power, and saving that for the combos you should be able to rack up in the parts like the beginning (DadadadaDadadadaDadadadadada).
However, I've only got 4 stars, but this is what I'm working with. |

I figured it out! I screwed up only a few times on the 2nd solo. My score was 285000. |

Go in there will a full meter of power and rock meter, last as long as you can and when your rock meter is down use the star power.
It won't last the whole thing so you need to be able to hold your own for a little while. _________________

The ending is REALLY easy, if you dont try and strum EVERY note...only strum 8th notes...watch my vid and check out how im doing the ending... On a good day I can combo the entire ending ^_^ _________________

He means to strum the 8th notes and HOPO the ones in between. Personally I can't HOPO for crap so that doesn't help me.
Luckily I'm not even trying to 5-star this song yet... _________________

without trying, you will most likely get 90% of the notes, even if you cant do HOPOs worth crap. Try it! _________________

What I do is place my fingers the way you do to PO,(hold down all of them then let go one at a time) but strum all the notes. It works pretty well. |

The usual practice song is Texas flood on medium/hard.
You can practice simple runs like BYRG or GRYB on cowboys from hell. _________________
