I know a lot of people say this is the one of the hardest songs to 5 star and I agree. I can nail every part of the song, just not all at the same time (except that string of oranges, havent hit that once) and perhaps the real fast part at the end, I usualy get 2x's then lose it through that...
Anyway I was just wondering if there was any key places to use star power to help me get a few more points out of the song... my high is 127k and I can usualy hit 110 - 120 pretty consistantly. just cant seem to get that extra 15 - 20k I need |

Pfft. I can't even complete the song. 75% is the furthest I've gotten. |

Man I'm right where you are. I absolutely nail some hard parts and say to myself, "this is the miracle run." But then I completely eff up other parts. My high score is about 130k I think, but I just can never get that 5 stars.
On a humorous note, I was playing Crossroads today and for some reason tricked myself into thinking I was playing Texas Flood (don't ask me). I 5 starred it (an accomplishment in itself) and was pumping my fist. When the newspaper page came up I felt like such an idiot when I saw Crossroads. |

Ummm...
How is that even possible? Do you play with the volume all the way down? _________________

Nah I had been playing for like 4 hours and all the songs were blending together. I had been playing Texas Flood repeatedly and I switched to Crossroads to cool down. |

Ah, I see. That still seems a little hard to do with the volume up though. _________________

I'll hit one hard set of scales then completely miss the next that I nailed the last time. Using your strategy I did get to 129k. (I lied when I said my highest was 130k, it was only 109k.) |

it took me a very long time to get that 5*....it was almost like a miracle for me to do it. you just have to make absolutely sure you can maintain a combo through the star powers which isn't that hard since you're SP is going through the easiest parts of the songs. just keep practicing and you'll get it soon enough. |

Hammers and Pulls are your friend on this song. once you can get a good feel for using them in the song, your score shouldbegin to go up quickly. |
