New single was amazing. Just trying to figure out why the whole album isn't leaked, yet. -_- |

Yup, just caught the new song when they posted it on Facebook. As I said there: I knew they wouldn't disappoint, but I didn't expect to be so blown away... it's enough to make me pre-emptively call Scurrilous my album of the year. _________________

THIS.
It sounds like they're doing EXACTLY what a great band should do... continuing to build and evolve their sound without completely changing or alienating their fans. |

The song sounded a bit too much like Sequoia Throne for the first minute or so, but it picked up after that and I really enjoyed it. The transition near the end of the song is flawless. _________________

Oh man, that new single was awesome. I haven't listened to PTH in awhile but I'll definitely pick up their new album when it comes out. The new song grabs you instantly, and I might even consider seeing them (Orlando is the closest they're coming to me, which is an hour and a half away). _________________

So...that's life, eh? C'est La Vie is incredible. Brings to mind Fortress but it's not a clone of any song off that album. The instrumentation is as cleanly incredible as ever, the vocals have improved, lyrics are deeper, drums are fantastic as always. Definitely can't wait for Scurrilous to drop. _________________

Wow, I REALLY like C'est La Vie. Brings power metal to mind, which is never a bad thing, IMO. |

Holy shit that new song is awesome. Definitely getting the album as soon as I can after it comes out, as well as their first two albums, seeing as I haven't even gotten around to that yet. _________________

Well the album leaked (of course) and. it. is. awesome. Good god... If you liked Kezia and/or Fortress then you will love this. Its got a surprising lack of screaming but Rody's vocals are much improved. The guitars are insanely melodic and technically. The songs are really proggy for the most part and a bit long(for protest the hero songs that is). Very much recommended _________________

The whole album reminds of Fortress. BUT BETTER. Sucks there's not much (if any) screaming but it's still a great album. _________________

Don't care that it leaked. Not getting it until official release. I'd feel bad. _________________

I wouldn't be surprised if I bought it anyway, even after listening to it, I love PTH that much _________________

Yup, this. Even though in the past I've listened to leaked albums and then bought them on release day, this is the sort of thing I'd rather just wait for. _________________
