Final Fantasy XII!

I got pretty far in the game (not really that far, but kinda), and just stopped playing because I just couldn't find any fun in it anymore. FF7 ftw

In my opinion, the worst FF i've ever played...well the ony FF's ive played are: FF1, FF2, FF7, FF8, part of FF10 and 10-2, Tactics, and this.

I dunno why but I never got into FF7 at all... FF8 is a major obsession though, FF9 is pretty close too.

Meh, never really liked the main characters of any FF game (save Cecil, I <3 Cecil). Cloud and Squall are both way too dark, alone etc. I do like Cloud towards the end of AC though, he goes through a major change.

I need this game, I played it once and loved it.

I got this game yesterday and i'm at beginning of the Lhusu Mines with already over 5 hours of play time lol. I don't know what to think of the game right now. I must say i hate playing it when other people are around but so far i feel like playing this game more then gh2 atm.

10 hours in and sorely underleveled lol. I'm having trouble with the boss on the Shiva (yeah yeah laugh it up). I still haven't learned Belias yet though, maybe I should try that.

Hey question, how exactly does the whole Quickening thing work? I used Ashe's once and did 2 (yes 2) damage. One time I used hers and hit square for Balthier's and I did like 800 damage and it said 2 hits. Is something more supposed to happen? Its pretty lackluster (and it takes ALL your MP), I would rather just keep casting spells (80 mana total is enough to easily make 800 damage with just casting spells).

Well sinse my last post I have around 12 hours of play time and just got Dawn Shard. What really pisses me off is I kept getting stuck on the fucking bird boss when your going into the tomb. The fucking Demon Wall a few times and worst of all the Belias guarding the door to get to the Dawn Shard. I didn't do much training with my characters but I'm looking good now.

By the way Ensiferous3 I don't quite understand the quickening either. What you want to do though is combine quickening with another character in your party. It will do the most damage and try and shift it so that it says mist change. I figured out mist change will do the most damage then the other shit but it's hard to explain and I havn't totally figured it out.

Also Ensiferous3 let me know how your doing in the game we can help eachother out because it's a long ass game and it's quite the hassle to be getting stuck at bosses all the time.

Huh I had no trouble with Belias, the only part that was difficult was his second Hellfire which I just promptly switched in my other party (everyone was level 14). The Demon Wall pwned me a few times cause I turned on the flames wrong lol (kept going blue and making him faster).

*SUPER SPOILERS HIGHLIGHT TO READ*

So I beat the boss of the Shiva. All I did was use Penelo to summon Belias and he died in seconds it was funny to watch. I just had to toss a few potions on Penelo until the other soldiers died and then I watched Belias pwn.

Btw RS, you can just call me E3 or Ensi, that's what everyone around here calls me.

And I figured out Mist Quickenings. What happens is you start it and you get three options. The ideal is Mist Charge. You can shuffle with the R2 button to get a new set of options (hoping for Charge). Then when you are almost out of time you chain it to an ally and do the same thing.

Heh I have no idea, you are ahead of me. Currently I've got:

Vann - 16
Fran - 14
Balthier - 14
Basch - 16
Ashe - 15
Penelo - 16

And I'm grinding right now. I have such horribly equipment (Penelo, my mage does more damage than ASHE AND VAAN lol) that I need to get some new stuff. And I'm a touch short on spells and very short on Techincks (my god they are so expensive).

I'm currently walking around Giza Plains - Rain just killing Toads and Hyenas so your guess is as good as mine. I can tell you my secondary party (Fran, Balthier and Ashe) gets pretty destroyed by more than 1 enemy at a time and against Toads its not easy. So I would say sure, level up a bit. Can't ever hurt you.
