I was a little distracted during the vid, Man, I'm going to hell

Haha, that made me chuckle...you're not the only one

OT: I kinda like it now that I've seen it as a real plas'tar. The idea of lots of customisation is pretty dam cool, as is the option to play it without any wings

All I truly care about with the new guitar, is it NEEDS to be sturdier.

GH 3, GH:A were awful, the buttons stuck or broke altogether.

GH:WT and GH:5, the strum bar started hitting two notes at random and screwing up my streaks, so I had to play up-picking only.

It needs to be able to take the abuse, and I don't beat on them like a nutjob.

That vid made me want to play a certain Silversun Pickups song...

Anyway cool controller, I like the look of the strumbar, my GH5 one slides back and forth a tiny bit and overstrums sometimes so hopefully that won't happen with this one.

One thing I did learn from the video is that the strum bar is curved which is pretty cool.

Ahaha

Ohh man. It does look pretty light. I'm not certain if that's a good thing or a bad thing yet. Either way I'm sure there will be people filling in the wings with weights.

One thing I'm curious about is whether the bodies can be solid or if they have to have holes in them like the ones we've been shown.

I don't think they do need to have holes. Activision just put them in the official guitar FOR THE STYLE.

It was nice to know that he worked alone on this video.

EDIT: It's so stupid, but for some reason I just want to take the wings off and play with a guitar bar.

You could hold it vertically and pretend it's a sitar!

Um...they always do release the standalone game for those not interested in another guitar

I wonder how slider notes are going to work this time around. Maybe it'll either detect the type of controller your using and turn slider notes on or off.

Or they'll be contantly on.... time will tell i guess.

and i dont care if my parents give out shit to me, GH:WOR : pre-ordered.

7 free songs and free wings ?? lets see how that turns out !

Well I think they'll just be in the game as normal. They help noobier people to pass hard sections because when they miss the don't have to strum. I woulda rather not have them (or have them completely fixed to be the same as HO/POs) but they are a different mechanic and they probably wanna keep it in the game. I hope there will be an extra/cheat to turn them off though.
