I've played DDR for a while now, and this is a good site. Machine locations, stepcharts, forums, etc. www.ddrfreak.com |

We were trying to organize a tournament at our school since we have an DDREX machine on campus, so we posted some details on the ddrfreak forum. The first reply was some guy that doesn't even live here anymore and hasn't played on the machine here in two years claiming that the pads were no good. Just one example of the asshattery you see on the forums there. That's why I really like the ScoreHero forum... it's not bloated with trolls and other idiots (yet) _________________

I am surprised the forums are doing so well. So far JC and I have only had to handle 2 or 3 people really over the past few months. |

We have banned one or 2 people, but none of them for forum conduct. Rather, we have had to ban users who sign up and start submitting obviously fake scores and who could not defend their actions.
How we handle the forums is we respect our users, and trust them to post in a relatively mature mannor. So far that has seemed to work well. But we can ban users if things ever get out of hand. |

about 80% of the forums in the world are crowded with idiot, morons, racists, and other jerks. we should feel lucky here that the community has enough respect for each other that we don't resort to all the other forum's crap.
i remember when i used to post on ITG freak that there was this one topic whose sole purpose was to flame LilQ....and it turn into a damn war. |

When I went into ddrfreak.com and checked out the music list portion of DDR SuperNOVA, and the list is missing Saint goes Marching, Rythm & Police(K.O.G G3 Mix), Max.[period], Butterfly(Upswing mix), Infinite Prayer, Mad Blast, Let's get down, Maximum Overdrive, So deep, Synchronized Love, Look to the sky(Trance mix), Boom Boom Dollar(K.O.G. G3 Mix), Do it right(80's Electro Mix), Kind Lady(Interlude), Yozora no Muko, and Butterfly. _________________

I think it's a decent forum over there.
Some sections tend to attract more idiots than others though, but I tend to not go to those parts (unless I feel like laughing at what others are argueing about) _________________
