ScoreHero Holiday Contest

Hello ScoreHero. Now that it's snowing here (thank you Hailz), we're looking to celebrate the holidays with the community, so we've decided to hold a contest!

What you need to do to enter: Take a holiday-themed picture of something Guitar Hero or Rock Band-related. The picture must contain something appropriately festive, as well as at least one GH or RB-related item (bonus points if you include a reference to ScoreHero). This picture can be anything from a bunch of people dressed up as Santa playing Rock Band or an awesome shot of you donating a Guitar Hero bundle to the Santa that rings the little bell outside of stores. Use your imagination!

Photoshops not allowed.

Once you've got your picture, send it to contest@scorehero.com. Make sure to include your username, or we won't be able to give you any of our fabulous prizes. You can submit multiple pictures, but please don't go overboard - you can only win with one picture, and we will be unhappy with you if you send us a ton of crap. Make sure you can receive physical mail and that, if still under your parents' care, you have their permission before entering this contest. The deadline for submissions is December 21st at 11:59 PM EST.

The ScoreHero staff will be judging the pictures. On Christmas day, we will post the best ones. The members who take our favorite pictures will also win prizes:

1st place - $100 XBL/PSN/Wii point card.
2nd place - $50 XBL/PSN/Wii point card.
3rd place - $20 XBL/PSN/Wii point card.
And a special prize for one lucky contestant!

(Point cards can be replaced with "boring old money" if you lack the equipment to take advantage of a point card or just want to be shown the money.)

So, grab your proof camera and use it for something other than avoiding elx's cleaver. We're looking forward to seeing what you guys can come up with - and have fun!

I'd like to ask, though, if someone from outside the USA (such as me) should win, would it be possible to simply email them the points code? Or does that violate some obscure (read: obvious) part of the Microsoft TOS?

From what I understand at least for XBL, points are separate per region and non-transferable (this even includes US/Canada being separate from what Phr34k has told me).

So in your case, it'd probably be best to request cash and buy your own points (or do as you please with it). Good luck.
