I dont have GH1 but i have GH2 (and tommarow 80s :P) so i borrowed from my friend and i beat it in one day on expert and it only took me like 5 trys to 5* Bark At The Moon. and its so worth it lol. 98% Cowboys from hell, is so much harder to 5* (I only got 4*) but to me it was easier that Cowboys From Hell. _________________

Don't ask me what number DAH stands for ;-)
Additionally, I don't alt strum the whole part, but only the triplets:
D...DUD...D...DUD...D...DUD...D...DUDUD...D...
Since downstrumming two adjacent notes takes more time then altstrumming them, you automatically make a small break before and after the Chord - its almost like replacing some upstrums with breaks. |
thats how i think about it too and it works for me perfetly |

the solo to this isn't actually quite that hard...it's sort of like Jordan. That song's much easier on a realt guitar. That's the same as BATM |

Okay, it's not been FC'd yet but I feel this question has to be asked, for my own curiosity.

What the fuck does the yellow section before the third to last activation mean? I understand that yellow means not to whammy, but uh.. Those aren't sustains. I don't get it. _________________

That is a good point, normally the yellow will be on hold notes, you ARE NOT meant to whammy, but for the single notes i guess it means don't whammy, but you couldn't whammy on them anyway. I dunno really. _________________

Yellow means to compress those phrases, IE not whammying part of it or activating as soon as possible after the phrase. For the phrase at measure 108, the yellow indicates that you need to activate as soon as you can after getting it so as to avoid running over the next phrase. |
