|
|
My local radio station played two of their songs a few days ago, and I can't get over how amazing they are! Here are a couple of their songs:
"Don't Stop the Sandman" by Rock Sugar
This one is a mash-up of "Don't Stop Believing'" by Journey and "Enter Sandman" by Metallica.
"We Will Kickstart Your Rhapsody" by Rock Sugar
This one is a mash-up of "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "We Will Rock You" by Queen and "Kickstart My Heart" by Mötley Crüe.
Their album is called Reimaginator and has 13 (including these two) tracks just like this on it. I'm supporting this band like crazy, and I ask you to do the same if you enjoy their music.
Official Website, where they exclusively host their CD: http://www.rocksugarband.com

Agreed. Aside from the vocalist(s) sounding quite similar to the bands they're covering, what really impressed me was the sound quality of the recordings, especially the fact that they were able to accurately imitate the guitar tones of multiple parent bands within one song without making either sound out of place. All of the songs I found on youtube were great. _________________

I know! The vocalists are dead on, and the guitar tone also amazed me.
But I found out something very cool today. I went on my facebook and saw that the band had given me a big shout-out on their official facebook page for posting a thread identical to this one on the official Guitar Hero forums.
This is a really awesome band who cares a lot about their fans. I really recommend them to everyone! |

Alright guys, the original video was removed from YouTube, but I've updated the original post with the new link. So it's all good.
In other news, the band is scheduled to play at the Beale Street Music Fest. in Memphis, TN on May 2nd! |

It's not too far from me... I hope I can make it! Really lovin' these guys.
They've got other gigs scheduled, too. You should check over on their website. |
