So, I know this is an old game, but I rank it among the best PS1 games of all time. If you don't know, it's a 3D version of the classic Worms games. You control a team of five pigs, with varying arsenals, and your primary goal is to destroy the other team while keeping your pigs alive. The other team is often (especially later in the game) given a positional advantage or has greater firepower or even more pigs than you.
Upon completing levels you will gain Promotion Points, which can can be used to upgrade your pigs, taking them along the routes of Heavy Weaponry, Espionage, Engineer or Medic - routes which eventually converge into the Commando and Hero classes.
It's a simple, but fun, game. Are there any other fans on the site? I'm currently thinking about starting a run with five of the same class, but I dunno which class. I'm thinking HW would be easiest, but I've always wanted to try a five-Medic run. Five Engineers sounds like hell, due to lack of any ranged weapons at all. Thoughts? _________________

Was just the first two, decided to do Saturdays as well. | Serious advice now: No-one likes indecision in their work, so find what you like that you're even remotely good at, and stick with it. Don't flit from one thing to another, because that just smacks of a large lack of determination and drive. And people don't like you for that, and won't remember you for it. I mean, I get that you have a plucky spirit and a willingness to try new things, but there's a limit, man. | I might knock it down to just Thursday and Friday. |

Bloody hell, that's a blast from the past. I used to love this game, in fact it was one of only a handful of PS1 games I ever got around to completing. Probably still got it at home somewhere, I'll have to see if I can find it next time I'm back up that way.
Best thing for me was the voice acting, Rik Mayall should do everything ever. _________________

One of my all-time favorites. Played the hell out of it on PC back in the day. The best strategy game i've ever experienced. That last mission was total insanity though, haha! |
