So the album leaked today. That means it's streaming on Myspace now.

I've only listened to a few songs so far and it sounds pretty good.

Yeah. I'm updating the op.

Better than Raditude. Memories doesn't represent this album, I'm happy to say that.

Listening to Run Away right now. =w= Good job Rivers, you can still rock it.

ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2010.

Memories is awesome. Trainwrecks is amazing. As well as Unspoken. But seriously every song on this album is really good.

This was a damn surprise.

Its weird how this leaked, then a couple hours later they started streaming it on their Myspace.

It's a bit hit-and-miss for me... unfortunately leaning more towards 'miss'. I'll give it another try later, it wouldn't be the first time I didn't like a Weezer album on first listen that I later went on to really enjoy (oh hai, Maladroit).

I refuse to listen to Hurley until I pick it up next Tuesday.

Also, I liked Make Believe. Does that make me weird?

We Are All On Drugs seems to be the one everyone hates, because of the 'lame' anti-drug message and because it uses the melody from the Diarrhea Song

I don't think it's horrible but I do think it's intensely mediocre

The new album is good. Wow. Best songs were Unspoken, Brave New World, and Time Flies.

How did you come up with this little philosophy, anyway? Age + Number of albums = Level of bad? Rush must be terrible.

Anyway, I really like this album, and I don't really get the hate on Memories.

Haha really? I love that song! I just see it as another goofy Weezer song.

Just gave this album another listen today after having the chorus melody of Unspoken in my head all night.

Ruling Me..... It's like the verses and energy of the Green Album, mixed with bridges and chorus melodies of Blue Album, and the hard guitar bite of Maladroit and Pinkerton. All while having hints of their modern sound of their last three albums. It is really an all around Weezer song for fans both new and old. Even Memories seems a little better now than what I thought of it when it first leaked.

Ditching the squeeky clean production for this album was a great change of pace and something Weezer needed to do after so many years of perfection. I will admit, at times, it does sound too raw, but after Make Believe, Red, and Raditude, I think a raw-sounding album was just what the doctor ordered.

All and all... This album is probably the best Weezer album since Maladroit. (And this is coming from a guy who loved Red Album too) When you factor in that almost all Weezer albums grow on me over time... this might be one of my favorites.

Bought the deluxe version today.

All My Friends Are Insects
I'd love to see more songs instrumentally like this. Lyrically... well, it's a kids song for a kids TV show. But damn if it isn't catchy!

Viva la Vida
Weezer does Coldplay. It's a pretty good cover, actually.

I Want To Be Something
After hearing this song, it reminded me a lot of other acoustic Weezer songs. I'd actually really love an acoustic Weezer album. This was really good, and I think it would have been a better closer than Time Flies.

Represent (Rocked Out Mix)
Their single from earlier this year. I actually like this version a lot more than the single mix.

I agree that I Want to be Something should have been on the album, I don't think it would beat Time Flies as a closer though. Maybe somewhere in the middle of a string of more upbeat songs.
