Small Tapping Problem

I'm practicing tapping Jordan Solo B on Slowest just to mess around (and maybe one day be able to do it) but I've started to notice something that might hinder me in the future.
I try to my middle finger (or middle and index fingers sometimes) be the tapping finger for the notes but sometimes I find myself alternating between my middle and ring finger as I move closer to the Orange. Is there some way to train myself to only use my middle finger or should I not worry about it too much?

If it ain't broken, don't fix it. But, if you do wanna do something about it, just pull all your fingers back like you're flipping the bird and tap like that.

Yeah slowly as I practiced my my hand started to put my middle and ring finger together on it's own so I think that's how I'm gonna do it. :P Thanks.
