I bought a PS3 recently with backwards compatibility. If I put a PS2 GH/RB game into my PS3...Would I put that game as being on PS3 when I input scores on Scorehero? |

Nope, because you're still playing in a game engine designed for PS2 |

AFIK that doesn't work anyway. The game loads but the PS3 doesn't handle the PS2 guitar controllers. Before my fat ps3 died I had tried it with unsuccessful results. _________________

I tried GH5 in my PS3 today using my PS2/PS3 RB1 Guitar Controller, and it didn't work... |

All guitar-only games support L2/L1/R1/R2/X style gameplay on the DualShock, so I would imagine they would also work on a BC PS3 (as the system would essentially be emulating the PS2 controller interface for other games to work normally). GH3 and GH:A also support using HO/POs properly from the DualShock, while GH1/2/80s do not (you can't hold L1 and tap R1 to hit a RY trill, for instance).
For obvious reasons, no full-band game supports the DualShock as anything but a controller to use alongside a mic for vox, although I know at least the RB games can be hacked for such support (being one of the resident HMX engine hackers :P) _________________
