(as an FYI, I play on the RB kit, not the GH kit.)

On a random whim I decided to try out note shuffle mode on my drums and played Bloodlines on HDrums where I had a semi-decent chance at FCing (or at least doing well) since the regularly-pathed chart is potentially FCable. However, when I did actually play it I noticed that throughout the chart I would just randomly drop streak like there were invisible notes I couldn't see or hit. I even dropped to MDrums with mirror mode only to see if it was a combo of the two and played Psychobilly Freakout's first few notes (which, on MDrums, is just R RR RR RR R-YK). And while the R's just flipped to Greens and played fine, the YK was instead just a kick that kept dropping the small streak I had.

I got a bit too frustrated so I never actually let the song finish and see if it was actually missing notes or just overhitting, but it was really disheartening to notice. I have been having drumpad troubles as of making this post (specifically my yellow pad) and my kick pedal is cracked but still operational, yet it's not like the pedal at least is double-kicking (the pad may sometimes cross-talk with the blue, but even as it is now that's very rare; more often it just flat-out refuses to register strikes).

I did try note shuffle and mirror mode on guitar, and it worked perfectly, insofar as any mistakes were purely on my ability rather than issues with the fret buttons, strumbar or missing notes. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? It's a real shame that it's apparently literally broken on Drums because that'd be a cool challenge to try for

Note Shuffle and Mirror Mode effectively only work on 5 lane drums, because for whatever reason the orange cymbal notes do not get converted and instead linger as invisible notes that break your combo.

Well, shit. And here I was hoping I could have some fun with Note shuffle/Mirror Mode/both cheats active FCs/FGFCs with an RB kit.

I guess this wouldn't have been something they could've patched at the time? Or did no one really speak out enough about it before Neversoft and Beenox were gone?
