Well that was quick hahaha. May have taken a bit of inspiration from k3vV2 :P. Unlike k3v, however, I'm not gonna be improving many of my scores. Mainly made another account cause I know comparing myself to my old scores would have frustrated me to no end.
I'm going back to do grad school after some real world work and have a bit of time to play. Figure I can spend 2-3 hours a few times a week and steadily FC the series. To be honest, I'm a little shocked at how efficiently the skill has come back (-1 on Fire It Up yesterday!). That being said, I'm not gonna spend an entire day getting 200-400 points on a song like I used to (unless I have some time at the end of the allocated days for the game, but that's yet to be seen haha)

Thanks! Hope you have some time to finish it up!
EDIT: LOOK AT THIS FUCKING BULLSHIT MISS ON Fire It Up. HOW IS THIS AN OVERSTRUM AFTER THE BLUE NOTE. THE BLUE NOTE IS RIGHT THERE. FC otherwise, naturally

Thanks! Looking forward to trying to stick with it.
Also, (spoilers incoming) I've been working on an SP optimizer for post-GHA games. All work fairly similarly in regards to SP mechanics, and I think I figured out a solid algorithm (and by that mean an efficient branch and cut method in an otherwise exhaustive search). Goal is to have that spitting out paths by GH:WT, which gives 4-5 months of development time. Progress on this will also be documented here! |

I don't come here often anymore but it's always amazing to see an unknown player cake FCs such as Cowboys From Hell and Texas Flood. I'll do my best to catch the stream at some point if I can.

Thats interesting, almost gives you a reason to actually play every song in the series again. Not a bad idea...
Good luck to you & hopefully you can get most the FCs and decent scores like you are already doing. _________________

<3 Love ya, Undead
Stream is up now! Gonna be playing til around 9 EST
Edit: done for night. Both a 100% overstrum and reverse choke on Decontrol fuck my ass. This weekend imma try to knock out all of the easy songs (threshold of "hard" being somewhere around Crossroads) |

Welp, one month of GH1. Clearly I'm not as good as I used to be.
The plot twist in all of this is that I'm gonna do a second pass of the whole series once I do an initial playthrough. The schedule I'm using allocates a day for each song in the entire series. 2/3rds are in the initial playthrough (ie. 33 days for GH1 initial play, 14 for the redux at the end)
Will do a full stream of GH2 tomorrow! Single run for each song. Woo. |

Aw, thanks. The score disparity is deceptively close, as I never got around to pause glitching with my initial account. I'm still shocked I got Fire It Up (45 minutes prior to my self-imposed limit at that!)
GH2 stream is starting now! Lots of bad quasi sightreads for sure |
