Using Ben's post/video as references, here's the visual for those who need it.
Does anyone who owns a 360 know if it's possible to squeeze in that R note just before the first activation I marked in? _________________

i know i tried explaining it to you over xbox live, but i know i dont speak clearly sometimes and it was kinda hard for me to explain so heres another explanation:
MJM249 wrote: | Supposedly on an area that can be sqeezed, you hit your star power right as or just a hair after the note passes through the circle and then hit that note slightly late. Then the final note in the sqeezeable area is hit slightly early a split-second before SP ends. Your best bet is to use the select button for activation. |

2. Think of your strum and your SP activation as a single motion, hitting the select button with your pinky. However, you should hit the select button slightly before the strum so that the strum will count under star power. But only VERY slightly earlier.
3. The activation motion mentioned above should happen just AFTER the note has passed. This takes a lot of practice to get the timing just right
4. At the end, hit the last note a little bit early. If you're not exactly sure where the SP ends (such as in a long run of repeated notes), try to hit ALL the notes early. You'll know you missed the squeeze if you see the note change back to its regular color just before your strum. Again, this takes practice.
5. Find some easy songs where you can practice your squeezes. Squeezing is much easier if you don't also need to worry about hitting all the notes. |

Aww. I activated the last one way too early, then I read this thread. Oh well, 21st. I might try again some other time. |

the activation on the chords before the solo is wrong......move it up to the green note so you can squeeze that next green in......you're welcome!

Actually, they're the same. The hold points equal a note on their own, so it doesn't matter which you do. _________________
