Jann's got a few tricks up his sleeve that confuse me. Granted, I don't go online in random rooms very often, and my friends aren't all that good, but I've never really run into any problematic Jann players.
Gen Fu is a bitch, and I've run into one guy who destroys with Helena. Actually, that was the guy from my previous post. XD
Oh, and Hayabusa seems to be the novice character of choice. Anyone who can learn a movelist can pull off shit with him. |

Actually I might consider playing DOA just because you can play em online.
For that matter, getting an xbox >_> _________________

I have Super Street Fighter 2 for the SNES... That game was kick-ass. I also love the Marvel Vs. Capcom Arcade editions. I went to Cedar Point in 8th grade and my wrist cramped up from playing for 2 hours straight... then I went into the Jurassic Park arcade game (the one where you use the guns) with a friend and beat it in 1 1/2 hours... good times!
But yea, Ryu and Guile were my favs... Sonic Boom! _________________

I hate Guile soooo much.
Also, I love in HF on XBLA when people think they can palm spam with Honda to win. Every single time they fall into the FB trap. |

Jann's attacks are telegraphed and easy to read, so I never have a problem playing against people who play as him. I'm actually really versatile and can play with any character, since I always play a random character when I play against people on versus mode. And yes, I too win matches without throwing a single attack. Counters are my specialty. I like that they added the new "mid-kick" counter in DOA 4.
Anyway, I would say that my best overall character, though, is Ayane.
Absolutely. Unstoppable. _________________

I do the random thing with my friends as well. It gives them the false sense that they might be able to beat me.
I'm actually pretty bad with Ayane. I feel like I'm landing 80 bajillion attacks and all of a sudden they only have like 1/4 of their health gone. |

@JHetfield:
Didn't the mid-kick counter already exist waaaay before DOA4? They only changed it's command from "<-- + Free" to "--> + Free".
Before DOA Ultimate on the Xbox, it was still backwards you had to push, just like all the other counters. For some reason they changed it to frontwards.
@dandaman:
No, I don't know what you mean. _________________

I'm not sure if there was an actual counter for mid-attack... I just remember parrying them. Though it's been ages since I've played DOA2. |

I can't say I know what you mean.
In fact I'll go out on a limb and say YOU don't know what you mean, either. _________________

I know exactly what he means.
ZOMG ITZ 2D, GRAFIX SUX, STFU N00B.
Bah, I hate people who judge games by graphics than gameplay.
Either that or he thinks its just a mindless button mashing game that requires no skill.
I'd like to see anyone try to button mash against me. True story. A friend of mine goes, I can beat you, I can beat anyone, I can button mash and put people who think they're good to shame.
I accepted the challenge, and he no longer thinks that, I raped him. _________________

Just for that, there will be a new pic coming up from me tonight for the mugshots thread.
Yes it deals with the power glove. I actually have the large power glove complete in box. And yes it'll have the quote in the pic.
And yes, I'm going to make it my main pic on myspace. _________________
