I know I saw it before but what exactly does the speed code do?

Speads out the measures to make the notes scrolling at your further apart and they also come at you faster.

This isn't to be confused with changing the speed of the song such as in practice mode.

Notes are further apart to help you read notes that are packed closely together.

It speeds up the notes, and spreads them out. If you ever played DDR, its exactly the same as the speed modifiers for the arrows.

And no, it does not alter any kind of windows to hit the notes. Its just... more convienant for those of us who react better to faster speeds.

Does anyone know if this can be turned on and off? or if you use it and save does it stay on the next time you play?

Yes, you can turn it on and off, and yes you can save. Thats why I don't consider it a cheat.

Repeat oyoboyob at the title screen.
