Well, Ive been Dloading GH3 for a couple days now, it just finished about a half an hour ago. I popped it in my PS2 [using Swap Magic, of course] and the GH3 loading screen comes up...and takes about 5 minutes to continue onward. Finally when I arrive at the music...Lets just say, ITS NOT MUSIC! It goes somewhat like this:
KDBGHFYUBFDSJBIHVGSFIYILUBGVFVGOUBVSDKLIHJOBFEWU
Any opinions on what is going on? Thanks in advance! |

Well that's pretty stupid now isn't it... GH3 isn't customizable with custom songs. _________________

lies! |
How is it a lie? I had all the programs downloaded [Alcohol 120%, GH Explorer, ect.] and a song list ready for it, but there was no logic in doing it for 2 if it was possible for 3. I had tons of Dragonforce |

Because it's a completely different file format. Your efforts were stupid and for nothing if you planned on customizing Guitar Hero 3. I don't know if I can say it any clearer. If you downloaded everything for GH3, turn off your computer, and back away slowly. _________________

I was told there might be a slight chance GH3 was modificable [is that even a word?] by people on YouTube. Anyways, it's not possible to mod it with the custom songs on here because of the format, right? Then what format is supported then? |

GH3 is different from GH2, that's all you need to know. Come back in 4 months when you have legaly bought the game and THEN hope for some modifications. |

yeah one to jump on the band wagon it would be great to modify the new gh but thats not happening for a while and there are a few reasons
1. its only just come out o think people might want to play it before modding it
2. the file formats will be different
3. if u has downloaded programs to do it people would need to update the programs to work with gh3
4. with the new ho/po (hammer on pull off) system all the note charts are gonna have to be made differently
personally if u were only planning on hacking it y did u try to play it straight away using swap magic and such before even checking the forums to see if it works so odds on u have tried to get a copy illegally cause ur to cheap to buy it and the reason it would hang is most likely cause of crappy discs or a bad copy _________________
