How to record Guitar Hero 3 on PC

I might look stupid, or i just looked over it while searching but i couldn't find it anywhere.

Can somebody please tell me some/the best way to record Guitar Hero 3 + Sound on the PC? I know FRAPS, but the game is lagging huge (at least it is with other simple games) while using it, so that's no option.

Would appreciate it if someone could help me on track...

Are you using black background on the game while playing/recording? I use fraps. Whatever frames per second you tell fraps to record at thats the speed the game runs at, so tell it to record at 60fps.
