Does burning an ISO image on Mac affect anything?
I'm using a Verbatim DVD+R. I burned the .ISO image onto it via Mac's "Disk Utility" but it's not working.

I've been trying to do this for the past 5 days and can't get anything to play.

We need more info, like what are you burning, and what happens when you try to use the burned disk.

Fair enough; basically here's what I've done:
Shrunk my archive in Ghex,
Replaced about 12 songs (the first 12 that appear on the setlist),
I know I created my ISO file correctly, with all the right info,
Verbatim DVD+R burned at 4x using Disk Utility

I don't have SwapMagic so I'm trying the slide tool-timing deal. Sometimes I can get a redoctane logo, but I've only gotten that twice. I know my timing can't be THAT off. I know I set up all the files on the disc correctly and everything.

But whenever I try to play it it just spins and hisses.

I may try some Sony/TDK discs later but I wanted to know if (in general) burning on a Mac would hinder the process in any way.

Sometimes Disk Utility does strange things, like adding .Trash folders or .DS_Store files to directories. Use ImageBurner and you should be fine. It's free, and I've used successfully it for every burn I've done. Just leave all the boxes unchecked, insert the DVD, and drag the image file onto the burning disk picture. Also, I recommend 4x, but that's just me.

I noticed that Disk Utility adds a "disk2" or "disk5" along with the .ISO, I wasn't sure what that was....

Thank you for the link, I'll give it a shot
