Helpful tip on offsets...

Audacity has and offset function... sort of
Under the "Generate" menu is a command called insert silence.
I used this to add a +4000 ms offset without using ghex. It might be quicker for some. no loading in to ghex.

thats fine if thats the exact offset you know you need, but with the amount of different mp3s for songs going around, everyones offset normally is a few ms off, im yet to have found a chart that perfectly syncs with the given offset, i normally have to adjust it by eye using ghex, though i am nit picky when it comes to sync

Quite a few people have it up and running, I assume.

I know for a fact I do, as well as Unsteadycarrot.

I simply lack batteries...

Unsteadycarrot had this problem. Iono how he fixed it, but it had something to do with his Audacity version iirc.

Anyways, I'm about to get my next disc done. Symphony X - Set The World on Fire and Thunderstruck, here I come.

Does the tattoo on the arm flap forever? Or does it stop completely?

It flaps. The wii doesn't freeze, I can still turn it off with power on the wiimote. It just hangs there forever. I tried all difficulties incase the chart I got was off. No luck.

The 4 files that was made after using the fsb program have an underscore then either "song" "guitar" "rhythm" "preview" after the song name. Is everything spelt exactly right. Did you check you wav files after leaving audacity to make sure they are 33075

add this to the guide withief

how to add custom videos to GH3 wii

download Pssplex* - http://files.filefront.com/pssplex+setupfullrar/;4772123;/fileinfo.html

download radtools - http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm

download vdubmod - http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/virtualdubmod.cfm

* - only needed if you wish to convert a video from gh 1,2 or 80's

in this example ill be converting the gh2 intro for gh3

1. first seperate the intro.pss using pssplex, this will seperate the file into a video file - m2v and an audio file - wav.

2. open up virtual dub

3. file-open video- select the m2v file

4. stream-stream list-press add- choose the wav file- press ok

5. video-frame rate - in the second section theres an option that says "convert to fps" tick it and type in 59.94 press ok

6. file-save as-intro.avi

7. open radtools

8. browse to and highlight the intro.avi

9. press the "bink it" button

10. set the height to 368 and the width 640 (middle section)

11. set the audio to 44000mhz and sample rate to 16bit mono (bottom section)

12. convert as intro.bik

12. replace the intro.bik in the gh3 wii iso with this new one using trucha

13. sign and burn

*this is my method right now its not final!!!!* - due to slightly speeded up playback....although these new settings SHOULD stop that.

I think my problem was with the guitar and rhythm files. I made them have nothing as opposed to about 1 second. They didn't show up right. Reburning now.

@carrot
Shouldn't it be 44000 Hz. Not to be picky. I am trying it right now with just a music video.
