oof i had a bad week. i had almost no time to play, and on saturday night i realized i hadnt even tried cherry pie and, carry on wayward son. so i just played them once and submitted them. it didnt help i wasnt quite coherent.

Why do I seriously doubt that VRocker11 got 208,000 on BatH when all the rest of his scores are so dismal?
EDIT: My guess is he missed the whole "no whammy" thing

Yes. We don't show it, but ties are broken by combining overall scores. So if you see two people with the same points on the chart, the one on top had the better overall scores..and it technically in a higher position. This will really only count at the end of week 4...if there is a tie for a playoff bound position (thus why we don't bother displaying it for the normal weekly results).

I have to agree here. I used the following SP path, and unless he or someone else can give a better one, I don't see how 5,000 more points are out there.
3 - next note
2 - after long blue hold
2 - after 2nd RYRY
2 - next note
That aside, I'm pretty happy with my week's performance. I knew that I could have improved Cherry Pie a little (I only played it once), and I really wanted to work more on Carry Me Home, but I didn't end up playing GH2 at all on Friday or Saturday.

Exactly what I was thinking. Maybe VRocker11 will disclose how they got their score or admit the mistake IF there was one. Ah well.

| Now that you mention it, I'm curious about not only the BatH score, but also him getting last place by 40k with an FC on COWS. I'll see what I can find out. |

Are you guys serious? People with absolutely no business being in League C are whining that one guy may have made a mistake and accidentally won a song that has no implications for the people making the complaint?
I guess I should expect as much from people who feel the need to sandbag an online video game league with no prizes.

It's not so much the implication for my score (although it would give me one extra in relation to the others), it's more about fairness. For one thing, I'm not sandbagging... I had this game for 2 weeks when I joined C League. My skills have gotten good, and I hope to be good enough for B League next season, but I certainly am not a sandbagger. What's worse, someone who has worked hard to improve and asks for honesty from others, or a dishonest score?
If the score is legitimate, I'm simply curious to know what path was followed. I thought that mine was close to optimal, minus a few squeezes. |

My guess is that VRocker11 put the twist on the wrong song...see what Elx can dig up.
For the record, on BatH, I used...
2 - ...ummm...in between the reds (#49 & 50 on the note chart)
3 - act during 2nd blue hold

Dunno if that was optimal...but it looked good to me (using sightread, notechart...and the ability to activate without missing notes)
In the defense of some in the C League...I think that when the Leagues started up (3 WEEKS ago), that everyone was legit in entering. It has been said by a couple (myself included...even though I'm not in the very top) that we (all?) have gotten better in these weeks. Due to the attention that we put into the songs...looking at SP Paths, and FC'ing songs that we may have just passed on ('till later  ). For myself...I probably wouldn't have even considered looking at 'Hard' yet.
When this League started up...my goals were to FC all of Easy and then work on Medium ('till I could no longer FC them...then go up to Hard...and come back to see if I could do them) Also, I didn't have a care of what my scores were...let alone SP paths!!!
So, Instead...I put that goal behind me...I work on the songs that I need to play, then if I get bored, I work on 'Hard' (only getting 2.5-3.2*'s , and using SP as only a crowd saver!!!) just to help myself get better at hitting notes faster, and just become a better player. ALSO, in the past week, I have tried to clear all of 'Hard' on GH1...because C League, might, get combined into B...due to lack of entries, and I wanna make sure that I have all the songs open...just in case!!! 
And...for what its worth (I'm not sure, just what I gather)...Next season, I think there will be a reshuffle...and people will get moved to different leagues, pending on their performance from this season. Remember, this is for FUN, and to increase our abilities...our scores...and make us become BETTER players.
Well...thats my 2 cents on that 
As for my scores this week...I did all right??? Maybe I shouldn't have put so much time into GH1...and a little more into these songs. But, I was getting kind of bored, knowing that at this point in time...that a FC on CMH was probably a no go, and BatH...was kind of pointless, because of the 'No Whammy' so even if I did FC it, I would still have a ton of points to get for a "real" score. 
Anyway...Good Job to all!!!

why all the hate? you know you dont have to be here. it would move me back up a spot. dont be dissing on SH leagues, this site kicks ass.
