|
|
I live here in Kansas City, Kansas and was listening to our local rock station, 98.9 The Rock, and the afternoon DJ comes on complaining that he is tired due to lack of sleep after finding the greatest game in the history of video games - You Guessed It!! - Guitar Hero!!!!
Now here is where it gets better, not only did he spend about ten minutes pimping this game to thousands of listeneners, but I called him and we agreed that there should be a Guitar Hero tournament at the next annual Rockfest. (Our annual all day kick ass festival for those not from around this area.)
The format would be single elimination, but the coolest part is that the finals would be done on stage in front of the crowd!!!!!
Now everything right now is speculation, but this looks promising!! _________________

You guys suck. I'm out in the middle of nowhere. I won't be finding any GH tournaments around here. |

It'd be nice if they had one around the Sacramento area...I mean, I'm not that good, but I could hold my own in a contest...
So long as everybody on this site stays the hell away from Sacramento. _________________

Aww man...
That's cool yet lame at the same time. Lame because I'll never be able to win a tournament.
Cool because somebody good at Guitar Hero'll be remotely close to where I live, so there could be some challenge. _________________
