XBox 360 Saving issue in GH:M

So I'm pretty sure that my hard drive is dieing on me, but I don't want to lose my save data for any of my games.

For a few days in GH:M the save screen would lag for a few seconds longer than usually, and progressively took longer and longer to save. Now when I load GH:M my status is still "current" to the last time it saved correctly, however any time the game tries to save now it hangs at the saving screen then displays an error message that gives me the option to delete or continue without saving.

Is there a way for me to back up the game save data on a USB memory stick (I tried one kingston stick I had but that didn't show up as an option to save to) or can I only copy to an XBox memory card? I'm guessing something is corrupt on the hard drive and it's only a 20gb so I'm going to try and get a 120gb instead to replace it, but I'd like to back it up ASAP.

If anyone has any advise on ways to back up the data, or fix the issue that would be great, or if you know it's a lost cause, that would be fine to hear also, just looking for some input. Thanks.

Easiest way is to get the 120 gig drive. It comes with a data transfer cable, to migrate your files from the 20 gig to the 120 gig drive. Otherwise, buy a memory card and start copying...

Thanks, I actually ordered the 120 last night, I also found out that it appears to be a heat issue that is causing my hard drive to lock up, 2 of the blades are broken off of one of my fans so I ordered a new fan as well.

I did clear up enough space on the HD so I could install GH:M and run it from there, cutting down on the heat from the DVD drive, and it played fine, however when I launched it I was back at level 1, which isn't a huge problem, however all my custom characters are gone which sucks. I hope my GH:WT info isn't gone as well, I tested to see if it was just a corrupt save on GH:M or if it was the HD locking up all together, and it locked up during a GH:WT save, if I lose all my GH:WT data and have to play through the career again I'm going to be pissed.

Does anyone know if there's a way to "revert" back to an older save data from say a week ago? I doubt it, but never hurts to ask.
