I just got back from vacation and i came home to my Xplorer being ripped by my cat at the worst possible spot.








Can anyone help me?

I don't have my camera with me at the moment but i will try to get those close up pics as soon as I can.


Edit: Got them but I had a hard time getting focus on my camera on such a close up thing but you can see where the rip is and everything.

Just cut that part and solder the rest, or buy a new cable from www.guitarheroparts.com

It worked for like 15 mins. and then I must have bent the wire the wrong way and ripped it because now it wont work unless I am pressing the two ends of the wire together.

put your camera in "macro mode" usally indicated by a flower symbol. helps the lens focus on close up objects. =]

You basically just need to strip the wires back, twist (and/or solder) them back together, wrap them in electrical tape, and your done. If you can't get a good connection becacuse the boot's in the way, you can buy a new chord from www.guitarheroparts.com.

If you can solder, that's a super easy fix.

I'd say I'd fix it, but you could get a new cord cheaper from the site.

Yea I can solder but how would i strip the dense rubber part of the wire.
