The =W=eezer Thread

I just can't get enough of Weezer. I've recently just got back into them and they are amazing. I think my favorite CD is actually Maladroit even though a lot of people hate that one. Another thing I love about them is their music videos. They are just hilarious.

So have any of you guys seen them live or have any new information about them?

Rumor is they'll be launching a tour with Oasis soon. As a huge 90's alt-rock fan, this would amazing (assuming Rivers and Liam/Noel don't let their egos take over, of course).

When I listened to Maladroit recently for the first time in ages, it was a lot better than I remembered.

As my friend said - the new album proves that Weezer shouldn't be a democracy.

My favourite is clearly Pinkerton.

...apologies for brevity, it's hard to think about Weezer when listening to Nine Inch Nails, they're like the logical opposite.

I do like Weezer.
They don't give me the same fire as, say, Faith No More or Primus, but they're good for chilling out.

maladroit isn't too bad, it's make believe and the green album that just suck

I actually like both The Green Album and Make Believe. Even though Make Believe doesn't sound weezer like, its still good music. And it was my first Weezer album.

I hate how everyone expects when Weezer makes a new album to sound exactly like The Blue Album (not saying that you did). I think that they need to grow as a band and I think they've done a good job so far.

PS: I tried so hard to like it, but Pinkerton is a big pile of fail (in my opinion).
