I don't know where else has one, but there's one in the Funland arcade in the Trocadero, London, England which came from the ATEI trade show.
And oh my god it's terrible. If anyone's interested I can post some information on it since there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of coverage for it. |

Whats so bad about it? Besides it being an arcade machine in 2009 |

Bearing in mind it's pretty much a test machine, not an actual 'full release' as far as I know:
1) The main one. It has a good quarter of a second of lag. Every song, I was having to hit the strum bar extremely early, and eventually stopped listening to the music at all and just strummed to my tapping foot.
2) Both guitars activated star power as soon as you filled your meter enough. The only way to fix this was to pretty much hold the guitar at a less-than-horizontal angle.
3) For some reason, premium songs were ridiculously expensive. The game was £1 for 1 song, but some long songs (Cult of Personality is the only one that springs to mind) had an 'Insert 7 coins to play!' message, which I assumed to mean 70p. It meant £7. I guess that was just an oversight but lols.
4) If I remember rightly, there were only 25 songs total, 5 tiers of 5, at least 8 of them being premium (£8) songs. The hardest song is Take This Life. I didn't think to take a songlist but they were all songs from GH3, a mix of the main setlist and a couple of the bonus tracks.
5) It crashed. I got a picture of the windows boot screen
This thread was pretty much made so I can bitch about it. How did all those glaring errors even get through testing? There were apparently 5 or 6 machines at the ATEI show, and only this one has turned up since. |

The fuck?
Seven quid for Cult of Personality?!
*stays the fuck away from a GH: Arcade machine*
The £8 premium songs sounds like arse as well. |

I played it at a movie theater in Chicago recently, it was a dollar a song which is not that bad I suppose... I played cliffs of dover and got a lolwut from the crowd around me. Didn't notice much lag on it. _________________

These really sound like an unauthorized copy or something D:
But then again, the makers of GH no longer care about quality?
GH:WT for PS2, perfect example. _________________

I'm fairly sure we had a topic about this before...
Haven't been to the Trocadero in a few weeks, but there's also one in a little arcade on Tottenham Court Road, just along from Warren Street tube. Didn't bother going in to play it 'cos I was out with a friend I hadn't seen in years, but no doubt I'll be wandering up that way again soon so I'll give it a try. _________________

It was handled by another company, so it may not be entirely Harmonix's fault.
GH Arcade was such a promising concept, but this was just pathetic. By playing it safe with reusing songs and lazy development, they've ruined their chances of arcade success. Or have they? The machine was sure seeing plenty of play, despite the problems. There were groups of people getting their £1s worth by passing the guitar around during the song, playing on easy.
I enjoyed gettting a crowd when I came so close to a Cliffs of Dover FC, though =[ Lost streak in the last bit of hammerons towards the end because I forgot and started listening to the music. |
