Let's share our dreams! I really enjoy sharing my dreams and listening to others' unconscious experiences. All I ask is that you use as much detail as possible and not to fabricate anything. Provide some background info if you think the dream is symbolic!

Possible the oddest dream I have ever had was two weeks ago. I found myself in one of the docks from Vice City, except it was raining very hard and my immediate family was there. There were two inflatable boats on each side of the dock. My dad and I were on one boat and my sister/mom were on the other. One of my friends owned the dock and was going up to everyone like the people at amusement parks making sure everyone is safe. He tied my dad and I's feet together with a long, green rope and did the same to my mom/sister. He said, "alright, be safe and have fun!"

And then what ensued was pure awesome. The two inflatable boats (that had no motor, mind you) took off and we had to race in the water (this all took place in Vice City). Whenever a bridge would come up, the two people on the boat would have to jump in sync OVER THE BIRDGE and land right back on the boat below. I remember the first time that happened, my dad screamed "What the hell?" Of course we beat the other half of the family, and we got back to a different dock. And what happened next was incredibly strange and random. One of my friends came out of a bush, went up to me, and said, "Hey man, you got my weed?" And the dream ended. I think I played too much Grand Theft Auto in the fourth grade >.>

Oh shit, I had the wierdest dream last night there were these aliens who looked like Vin Diesel and bit peoples fingers which reduced them to a pile of clothes me and my friend had ray guns and started shooting them when a giant shellfish of some kind came down from the sky and started shooting kittens out of it's mouth.
I can't remember the rest but needless to say it was interesting!

I was once a super hero with pillow vision fighting an army of mutant Cheez-its. It was the most intense dream I've ever had and it continued for a few nights in a row.

No joke.

Edit: Well, in the end I destroyed the Master Cheez-it by using my pillow vision in conjunction with a refrigerator which made a huge explosion and made all the Cheez-its become normal again. And the world ate for many, many months.

Funny - my dreams are almost always completely normal.

Take last nights for example. In my dream, it was a school day, I woke up feeling sick and told my mum. She offered to let me stay home, but I said I couldn't, as you need a doctors certificate. I asked if mum could go get one, but she said they were too expensive.

And that was it.

Not *quite* as exciting as your superhero/ray gun dreams, but ...

I had a dream about milk last night. I don't remember what it was about, but it involved milk.

Actually, I'm going to turn this post into my dream journal. I'll update it whenever necessary. But, A dream I had just recently was about this death metal band I'm in called Crucible getting as big as Dethklok. It was a fun dream, because I can recall doing a small mountain of cocaine and then fucking Ellen Page.

I dreamed I was in a 70's cop drama with my friend. I was the bad cop. Edit: I almost forgot this: Dolemite was the chief.

Once when I was little I had a dream that I was in a library, then Scooby-Doo and the whole gang came running in and all of us preceeded to run away from a typical Scooby-Doo villian. We pushed library shelves on him, and then I woke up. One of my best dreams ever.

The last dream I've had in a long time was last night.

It was me going through the vinyl section at a record store picking out a Fog of War record (they don't have one out yet).

tada~

My dreams are usually symbolic of something and they usually aren't as fun as some of the ones I see here. I'd love to jump on a boat in Vice City or fight Cheezits or have a Ray Gun of make a band as awesome as Dethklok, but my dreams don't do that usually. Here's one of my more recent dreams. (Note: I changed a name in my dream for obvious reasons.)

I was grocery-shopping with my Mom around late-noon when I got a phone call. I said "hello?"

Whoever was on the other line said "Come to the hospital ASAP, Maggie is very sick." Maggie was my ex-girlfriend, who I was still very much in love with. I yelled at my Mom to get her to drive me to the hospital as quickly as possible and ended up at the hospital seconds later. Maggie was resting in a hospital bed surrounded by friends and family. A doctor walked in as I sat down in a chair directly next to Maggie. He said Maggie had heart cancer and had a week to live. I sat with her for an hour as other people left over time in sadness. Eventually, I was alone with her and the doctor came in and told me I had to leave or spend the night there.

"Is there a way to save her?" I asked.

"She needs a heart transplant by tomorrow, but we have no hearts left in the hospital."

"What if I gave her mine?"

"Well, she'd have a chance, but we still have no hearts for you. You would die."

"So?"

The doctor ended up agreeing and told me we would be put into surgery in a little while. Maggie started crying a bit, which made me really sad. I spent the rest of the night sleeping in the bed with her as she laid in my arms. I was later woken up by the doctors, who said it was time to go. I got up and walked with them as they wheeled Maggie down the hallway into a surgical room. It had a bright light above and a second bed. Maggie was placed on the right of my bed.

As I got ready to go to sleep, I walked over to her and kissed her on the forehead. I said "Goodnight. I love you. See you in Heaven." Then, I laid down on the bed next to hers. Two surgeons proceeded to give me drugs to help me sleep, and everything went black, The blackness persisted for a few hours. Interestingly, as I laid down, the dream went into first person view. This is the first time a dream of mine has went into first person view.

I think some symbolism there is kind of obvious, and I already kind of feel weird just letting it out over the internet. So, to make everything better I will now talk about the dream I had in which I became Dig-dug.

I was walking in a two-dimensional cave, digging through dirt in my suit-thing. My boss was following me around the cave and pissing me off. I ended up shooting him with the pump-gun thing that Dig-dug carries around, then I kept digging in a straight line for a while.

I've been wondering about dream perspective, on a related note. I dream from a third-person perspective, despite knowing what's going on and knowing who I am and being in control of my actions. Some people have said they dream in first-person. Out of curiosity, what about everyone here? PM me your answers if need be to make this not a poll thread, as I have no intentions of hijacking this thread and getting it locked.

1. Your dream was extremely freakin' beautiful.
2. I seem to remember dreaming in third person, but memories of my dreams are usually hazy. I mainly remember plot lines.

I usually don't remember my dreams; for some reason, I forget most of them right as I wake up. I do remember enjoying most of them, though. If I have a really weird/epic dream soon, I may post it here.

So, I was playing Guitar Hero with some guy from Scorehero (I think it was JPrez). We were side-by-side playing, in this weird, bulbous room with bright neon colors everywhere. After a while, he decided to finish the song, so, after a bizarre transition (we walked through the walls, and I saw all these weird colors) we arrive at a gas station.

The price on the pump is the score, and he's looking to get an exact score for some reason. He doesn't want to go over this specific number. He gets ~20 points away and then tells me to finish pumping for him because he was nervous and was going to choke. So, I try it and accidently go over. Fail.

So, I go walking over to our car (we somehow have a car now) and start to tell him that I went a little bit over. I look through the window, and see this girl in there, her mouth slashed open (kind of like the Joker). She was really pale, whispered something to me, and then her hea rolled back and she died. She and some other girl in the back seat were both dead, practically floating in pools of blood.

So, I turn around, for whatever reason not at all alarmed at these deaths, and there's this guy standing there with a burlap sack for a mask. He laughs, taunts me, and starts to run away. Instead of fear, I'm still only dimly angry at him, because those girls he killed were my ride home.

So, I grab a new car and drive "home"... which is apparantly a jungle. On te way, this weird, self-controlled (no driver) car is trying to ram me, but I give my pursuer the finger and drive off. In my jungle home, we have a distictly WALL-E live character, who feels he isn't getting enough attention, so he kills my friends in the jungle and hides their bodies in the bushes.

WALL-E reveals his murders to the remaining survivors, expecting them to embrace him, but instead some other girl scolds WALL-E. (Again, no one is angry or horrified at the deaths... the whole thing is perfectly natural). WALL-E, depressed that he is still not accepted, picks up a rock and begins to bash his head, committing suicide.

Then, his little robot body gets up, having his memory been wiped, and is now a good guy robot again. All the remaining survivors smile, pat WALL-E on the head, and the dream ends. <_<

How exactly did I come up with that?!

I have one dream that was so vivid and clear, it was amazing. And I had this dream as a story almost, starting one night, and continuing on and on for a few days, and I'm writing a short story (100 pages amirite?) on it

I remember back when I was playing RE4, I had a dream that me and Popemobile were traveling through woods and then came to a cliff. We killed zombies and came down to a huge factory. We stopped time and killed more zombies, and huge spiders.

IT WATH SWEET.
