Starpower is your ability to make people forgive you for your terrible performance by utilizing your fame and former glory.

Also you can shoot lightning.

When you hit at least two sequences of star shaped notes, a bar/sequence of bulbs on the side of the screen will turn blue and the message "Star Power Acquired" or something will appear.

When this happens, tilt your guitar upwards, press the select/star power button or drop your pants to turn all notes blue, double your points and gain a higher rock meter boost with each note hit.

More Points = More 5* and high ranks on the leaderboards

On the guitar and bass, you can whammy on sustains to gain more star power.
