I'm looking into the dual omega pedals but im not sure if it's worth getting. I've heard that it isn't as good as the stock, but I don't think that anything could be as terrible as the stock pedals. Can anyone who has purchased the pedal maybe review it for me? People have said it doesn't register the hits very well. _________________

The Omega Pedal? There's a ton of threads on that one, and particularly comparing that one to the others (Rock Pedal, Destroyer, etc.). Search around a bit in the Hardware section and you'll find them.
The only thing about those switch-based pedals is that they will not function with the GH drums without a GH Twin Rocker. _________________

I myself own an omega pedal, though if you ask me anything is better than the thing that comes with the WT kit. I would say that what makes it nice is that there are alot of parts of it that you can customize to it, the beater lets you change the overall feel of the pedal while the spring can help finely tune it. Now what used to make the Omega Pedal nice; the beater actually hitting something, is practically a standard for your options for WT pedals. I have had a few weird moments with it, with it going off whenever I moved my pedal up, but it does this in weird phases and fixes itself after a little bit. For a Double Bass setup, 2 Omega Pedals with a GH Twin Rocker is probobly the best economically, unless you get 2 pedals and do one of the many ways to get them work with RB + Twin Rocker. But for your ready to go set-ups it's pretty much either this or getting a Destroyer D + a normal double bass. |

That's not exactly true, and the Destroyer D is a horrible choice. You can get a professionally-made kick trigger for less than the D, which is just a homemade modded practice pad. _________________
