As for the whammy bar issue, I found the most comfortable way to hold the whammy bar is between my ring and pinky fingers. That way you can alt. strum and still whammy right away.

I watched that video 10 times over and still couldn't tell exactly what knocked him down. Still looks like it could be a fluke though, can't wait to see what he can do when he gets a second chance.

If you want to have any shot at high scores do not whammy like Phenom. He misses so much whammy it is hilarious.
