I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing you would since you need Gold to use the XBL Facebook app to begin with; you probably need to use that to link your Live and Facebook accounts.

For the record, you do have to manually select the 5-lane layout, as I discovered when I tried to use my RB2 drums. Incidentally, whichever channel one of the RR-only pads (IIRC, the gray one) is on ...
