Get a set of those pro-mart ones, they are your best bet. They stay there pretty well, unless you're an uber rocker.

You might want to get some solder to hold it down. Should be a few bux at radio shack or home depot.

Soldering would work just fine on something like that... just don't burn yourself (I tried soldering back one of the wires on my new pads and burnt the living hell out of my hand).

You can use a piezoelectric sensor on the pedal. It is pretty hard to rig up just a pedal with a piezo though, because the pedal itself will be moving around alot, and there is also a good bit of vibr ...

It's a piezo sensor, not an on/off switch.... what do you mean by making it more like a rb pedal? Make it break? Or make it actually bounce back at you?
