I actually just bought the game a few days ago. The easiest way to get a controller is to probably go to GameStop or something and ask if they have one or the US Beatmania package.

If you watch the playback, a message board that I go to were the ones that drew the Mario and Yoshi. Those were good times draw to draw that while destroying the Korean flag that was in the middle.
