I only strum the ones that I must, and I can hold a combo fine :/
Instead of looking of it as one phrase, I look at it as small 3 note phrases (starting with the strum notes)

| Don't go for the achievement in career mode, do it in quickplay. If that doesn't work, then its just glitched for you. |
