It rotates freely as well. There's very little friction so it'll keep spinning for a while if you don't stop it.

In fact, the lack of friction does make certain scratches harder to control.

What you're describing is actually more prevalent in medium and hard. You just have to keep the disc moving in any direction at a relatively slow speed.

Minor update. I just got 3.06x as a multiplier on a song online and it was good for 4 stars (Excuse Me Miss/Give It To Me if it's consequential).

2.76x gave me 4 as well and everything over 3.75 ...

Is there any info as to whether these unfortunate encounters count as wins toward the 10 online victories?

As far as I can tell thus far, this game doesn't entail paths so much as simply using rewinds and euphoria when there's no distortion to 8x as much of the song as possible.

In my experience, I've been lead to believe that 3x (-ish) is the 5 star and something like 2.4x is the 4 star cutoff.

I can't remember a time where I got 5 stars with less than a 3x average.
