If I am right this is your problem..
C:\Program Files (x86)\Aspyr\Guitar Hero III
While Normal install is
C:\Program Files\Aspyr\Guitar Hero III
I think its the x86 thing because its not a ... |

| that was going on for me to but i wasnt making sure that the mp3 was at 128kb try that once and hope it helps. |
