Vocalist: Bruce Dickenson or Matt Barlow (Iron Maiden / Iced Earth)
Guitarist: Adrian Smith probably (not technique wise but sound wise)
Bassist: Steve Harris (listen to any Maiden song, he is awesome)
Drummer: Richard Christy (old drummer for Iced Earth)
Band: Iron Maiden (I know blasphemy, it used to be Ensiferum, see username...)
Recently I've just been pumped for Iron Maiden. I can't get enough of Hallowed Be Thy Name and the Trooper. Great stuff. |

Vocalist : Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins)
Guitarist : Brian Kahanek (Seriously...buy his album. It owns hardcore)
Bassist : Geddy Lee (Rush)
Drummer : Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, one album of Queens of the Stone Age...etc.)
Band : Hard to choose just one, but I've been on a massive Rush kick lately.
EDIT: Anyone who says they don't know anything about drumming, but have heard of Rush and Foo Fighters....needs help badly. _________________

You do know that david grohl does not play drums for the foo fighters right?
And come on... every drum beat in nirvana could have been played by a 5 year old. Not dissing down nirvana but yea. David Grohl has much more talent in song writing and singing then he did as a drummer.
But Queens of the Stone age is pretty cool ;). _________________

He did on the first album. :P
And yes, I know that. But I also know he's a better drummer than their actual drummer. _________________

He's a good drummer i'm not gonna say he's not. Nirvana is a bad example of his drumming skills tho :p. _________________

I was just giving examples. :P
And srsly...anyone who doubts his leetness at the drums should listen to Songs For the Deaf. I don't even LIKE Queens Of the Stone Age's other shit, but that album pwns face. _________________
