Nice job, the only song I've ever been in the top 100 on is closer. I think i was 99th on all consoles like a few weeks ago but anyway theres no way i could ever get a score like that on TWIE.

Really? I never had any troubles with Mosh solo.
Cough cough, Aggro Part and End Lead, cough Cough.
Wait, I just realized: If you can get everything outside of Mosh solo, I'm screwed! Better get to work then. Maybe now I'll finally have an incentive to break 300k. |

How do you hit mosh solo??
I can hit aggro 1/3 times and end lead on demand lol

Basically, you just have to know when to hit the higher note of the pattern, and when to strum.
It's bery similar to the   etc in 'In the Belly of a Shark', which I believe you have FCed. Onyl difference is, the notes are a little different.
One thing to watch out for though in Mosh Solo: When the pattern goes up to   instead of , the strumming changes.
In conclusion, just concentrate on the notes which must be strummed.
Okay, now it's your turn to help someone. HOW THE HELL DO YOU HIT END LEAD? (Today, I managed to keep a 4x untill the yellows. How do you get consistent on it? |

For end lead, youd strum moderately fast, using the hopos without thinking about. Make sure you know when to change frets.

I'm with vlad here: if mosh solo disappeared, I wouldn't have a PS2 anymore. I can practice that all I want, but I always suck on a real run.

Oh and also, bridge triplets are bullshit..
I dont know why but I cant hit them. I have hit every party apart from the bridge.
And I'm still very inconsistent on Mosh Solo. I smell an FCPREMIX FC in the near future though

Holy shit, how do you guys hit the Aggro Part? I have no trouble with End Lead, or Bridge (triplets are easy, just don't go too fast ), and I can hit Mosh Solo 40% of the time if I ignore the HOPOs (only section like this that I do that, I use HOPOs for BOAS solo and NotB Solo 2 etc etc). But the Aggro Part hates me.
And I can barely break 300k. I can't combo the verses worth a damn.  |

In the verse, use the hopos there and play in first position from them. Thats the way I get it 100% consistently.

So... I don't have a TV in my dorm yet, so I haven't played either song once this week.
Also. I miss stupid shit everywhere in F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. so none of you guys can complain.

Hey, welcome man! This is mostly a fun rivalry, but he's right to urge you... It does help you improve. Without this rivalry, I NEVER would have known I could have FCed Monsters, for instance.
I wish I had a friend who played GH on Expert. I do have one friend, a girl, who plays decently well on Hard, but I never have anyone to play on Expert with.

I share your trouble Jon, I have one friend who passed the game on Expert but is worse than even I or pokemaniac, most of my other friends play Hard except my friend Grace plays Medium.
Anyway, Stricken hates me (I FC'd until the third note of the solo...WTF?), and even though the is easy for me
I can't hit the 
FCPREMIX I took your advice, vlad, and I improved my score from 303k to 335k. Not going to win this rivalry, but it shows I'm capable of doing well on the song. I thought at first it would be impossible to use those HOPOs, but soon I was seeing 300 Note Streak messages, which is unheard of for me on this song. All it takes is some practice and those verses become easy with HOPOs. Easier than strumming at least.
This was also the first time in a run I FC'd Mosh Solo. I've only FC'd it in Practice before. Thank God for GH3 HOPOs or that section would've killed me. Also, one of very few runs where I did NOT FC End Lead. I was shocked, lol.
Oh, and I nearly got 550k on One (544k) and I would've gotten it if my guitar strap didn't fall down in the middle of an easy Sp phrase. :P Oh well |
