haha sorry should've read your 'location' -.- yeah most of them will be that way, just wait until they start updating it, most countries wait about 3 months before-hand lol just rss feed the site if possible or keep an eye on it

Hyperspeed Mode: Can be decided by each player to whichever speed they prefer

last year was 1, and only could be changed to 0 (in my country panama)

was like that everywhere ?

if both player want 2 can be changed to 2 ?

This year it doesn't matter because each player can define their own level of hyperspeed before playing the match. I will confirm this on local but i am very sure this is the case, so i could play 5 while you play 2 for example

It won't affect me since Singapore does not have online qualifiers, but I thought I'd just give a headsup to everyone else. I was playing PFO online yesterday, and there was a huge lag in activating SP. My SP would activate about 2 seconds after pressing the button, which is quite ridiculous while I think the host can activate immediately. That's a huge disadvantage right there for anyone who is not the host.

Hey Joel, that's online, yeah it's a biggie, but local i've never had a problem, however a lot of time i spent playing online i didn't get this issue, only when i was playing someone with my cable connection (crap upload) to someone in UK and it lagged SP activation but usa internal should be fine, just remember to video your plays and any disputes should be forwarded to their admin, assuming they'll care (which i can't control) ~.~' but i assure you we won't have these issues in LA - i just hope the speakers/tvs are as good as last year, it should be AMO-LED 200mhz 1080p full hi-def - i'd prefer NOT to use external speakers however for volume it can be a must especially in LA.. worlds gaming capital lol

Yeah Joel that really annoys me. It's like it sends to the host, then when it gets back it activates rather than GH3, etc where you activate and it updates later on your opponents screen. So sometimes it looks like you overran a phrase but you didn't. That way is much better.

Btw do you know of any details of SG qualifiers/Pan-asia. I heard Pan-asia is very unlikely to happen this year.

@Jyn, headphones please? I know I always ask for heaps, but it would be good for the players to use the same monitors and headphones as all the PC gamers, with bigger screens/projector behind the players for the audience to watch. This is the best way to remove lag and it's still very easy to spectate.

DarkJyn, seeing as you're in my neck of the woods (eg AU :P) I was wondering if you knew anything about qualifiers for the Australian team? I just know that CyberSlam and the AU WCG webmasters will fail to keep us updated...

lol i wish they would reply to me! I'll see if Twilight can do anything about it seeing as his mum is the aus coach, but at this stage me saying "I'm the big cheese for guitar hero, give me answers" won't get me anywhere %_% but if i get info i'll update here for sure
