Really pissed that LA didn't manage to win last night. Would have had a huge stranglehold. O well, they'll just have to win in 6 games now . Pitt should knock Ottawa tonight, which makes me happy, and I think the Devils will win tonight to keep it going. Big game in Nashville series, they win they win the series, they lose, they lose the series IMO.

Wow the top 4 in the west are all looking kinda bad right now. SJ can't seem to win, me and my brother have narrowed it down to 2 reasons, 1. Joe Thornton isn't a winner (the team needs him and Heatley and Marleau to show up and they haven't. All 3 disappeared for the Gold Medal game too. I'll give Heatley and little slack because he can't skate but he was by far the worst of them in the Gold Medal game) @. The HP Pavilion is made on top of an Indian Burial ground. Sure the Avs picture makes me biased but I still think SJ should have swept them away, the longer this goes the more chances SJ has to screw this up or get worn down by the speed of Colorado.
Chicago is just not getting it done. With a playoff rookie goaltender you have that risk and this could be a disappointing end to a great season. Hossa is doing is yearly playoff slump and Toews isn't up to shape either.
What if Vancouver could kill a penalty? History will be made.
Phoenix got thrown under the bus on this series and that sucks for them hard. Detroit is too good for them and should take this series. _________________

Thornton is playing fine, the Avs are playing WAY above their heads.
I'm not sure whats going on with Chigaco, I want Vancouver to lose, so ya, hopefully they cant remember how to kill a penalty.
And dont count the Yotes out yet. |

Nice comeback by the Nucks yesterday, but they really need to stop the PP, they won't win games like that. Good bye Devils, you're an embarrassment to the state of New Jersey. |

What a shitty loss, four and a half hours for that. Meh. Just gives me something to watch on Saturday. _________________

4 and a half hours of pure entertainment. Multi OT hockey games are AMAZING to watch.
Also, Sharks laying the wood to the AVs right now. |

12 minutes left to go in the third and Vancouver is up 6-2...pretty great game...especially by Sameulsson who has his 7th goal of the series, 2nd goal tonight....
In other words, he's a King Killer _________________

Pissing me of that LA cant get it done. Can't really stand the Canucks, Shane O'Brien makes me want to harm young children. LA should be able to win at home to tie it back up. |

Nice end to the Preds/Hawks game. What a time to score a shortie: 13 seconds left in regulation.
I personally thought the Hossa play didn't deserve a 5-minute major. Those foot races are always dangerous, and there was very little shove on his part. Dangerous play for sure, but nothing more than a byproduct of a hard-fought foot race, and it happens from time to time. Kind of fitting that he pots the winner immediately after Chicago kills it. _________________

Jeez sometimes I hate being an Ottawa fan. It's no fun to watch your team fall asleep for 2 periods. _________________
