1. I guarantee if you have rolling leagues you will not see the turnout like we will have for this season's leagues, and thus playing the league is just not as meaningful. Without having breaks, even of just 3 or 4 weeks in between leagues, people just get overwhelmed and popularity drops a ton.
One of the reasons there is so much popularity right now is because leagues starting back up is a new and exciting idea. We could see a major dropoff for next season.
2. Full Band leagues are always a possibility and were a possibility this year. It was only cause we got basically 0 turnout that there is no full band league.
3. Leagues are almost much more popular because it is a SH run, special thing, with lots of people playing at same time in competitive leagues. If you start rolling leagues they are going to end up turning into rivalries essentially. These just won't get the turnout.
4. As said above, those who only have 1 or 2 games and maybe only 1 instrument would only get to play leagues 2 months a year, not really fair for them.
The amount of people wanting to play in more than 4 or 5 leagues listed is pretty small. Sure there are a lot of people posting in here they wanted a lot of leagues, but thats like 50 posts total, we have almost 600 signed up for leagues. The average person who signed up for leagues isin't even using 8 of their songs per week, let alone all 10. The demand for people joining a lot of kinds of leagues is pretty small.. _________________
