How can that be compared to a double down?
Its just a cheeseburger with boring grilled cheese sandwiches for a bun.

Plus, at least the double down tastes great.

Oh, and they add a leaf of lettuce, because veggies are good for you.

What's with all the hate? I could totally go from one of those right now. However, (*insert comment about near-death experience due to health issues*)

No, but seriously, I LOVE grilled cheese. I never tried the KFC Double Down, cause that just looked disgusting. But this actually appears slightly appetizing.

Also, this reminds me of when I used to look at thisiswhyyourefat.com. The site got taken down I think but you can still get some images of the stuff on google. It makes me feel like those people are now in charge of fast food places. I feel America is going the wrong way health-wise

It looks like the sort of thing that I'd really want to try, but then regret eating and hate

I LOVE grilled cheese sandwiches...

That looks absolutely amazing. Too bad there isn't a Friendly's around here.

That really doesn't look like much to eat. I made my own version of this around 6 months ago out of one 10oz patty and two grilled cheese' made by my mom. Next time I try it I will go for a double with chili and jalapenos on top too.

Talk about a waste of two good grilled cheese sandwiches.

Take out the lettuce and tomato and this looks good to me!

But seriously, this doesn't look nearly as bad (for you) as the Double Down. Then again, it also doesn't look nearly as good (tasting) as the Double Down. As someone already mentioned, no friendly's over here in SoCal, so I'm out of luck on this one. But this did remind me that I need to try the Double Down sometime...

That sandwich looks bomb.
Too bad I've never seen or heard of a Friendly's before.

Do all you people live in Europe? Compared to the average American lifestyle eating something like this would almost be healthy. A friend of mine just told me he ate 3 full bags of chips today (yeah the big kind). That's probably 10 times the calories in this puny thing. That said, I'd eat one of these, but it probably doesn't taste as good as the DD did. Yeah I ate 3 of those so far and I wouldn't mind another.

The amount of calories listed on the Nacho Cheese Doritos is 150. 450 for three bags of them. The amount of calories in this thing is 1500. One thousand and five hundred. Not exactly puny if you ask me. With the average 25 year old American male's weight of 175 lbs. and his average height of five feet ten inches, this is more than half the daily recommended calories for him.
