Need SH's help for a Facebook photo contest!

It sucks that the only way to win these things depends on how many people you know. I shot you a like. I really hope you win, but I still dislike these kind of contests. Heh.

I really hate them too. It's gotten to the point that with as much work as I've put into getting people to Like my pic, I might as well have gotten a job at McDonald's and I'd have more money. Alas, now it's a matter of principle. This Nelson Muynh guy is ridiculous. I think he has to be running out of people to Like his pic though, cause he only had 160 friends last I checked.

Regardless, updating the OP. The current count is 95 and 70, with him in the lead. Third place is about 10 Likes behind me. I'm catching up slowly, I think SH forum members are gonna be my saving grace if I win this thing.

I'm willing to give up and participate on Facebook if it gets me a new drum throne for the game I most enjoy playing

Lol at 389 views of this thread and 73 Likes. Oh well, thanks to everyone who votes, this contest runs until July 31st. I'll keep trying but he seems to have better methods than me.

Just link them to this thread, I think my OP instructions are pretty good, no one from here has had problems with liking the group. OP is going to be updated too, I got 8 Likes since last night, so the gap is closing again.

Awesome, I'm back down to less than a 30 Like gap. I'm trying to get friends to post this on their Facebooks too. I think real friends and family of real people are more likely to do it if it's a personal post or message. Meanwhile, I've been doing everything I possibly can to pull this off. This is a lesson in advertising kiddies!

Well, Facebook is now preventing me from sending personal messages. I've been marked as "spammy." I think the competition got a little dirty on me. This is so irritating. Half a mind to quit this dumb thing now because of it.

Most more popular forums won't allow this, even in the General section. I asked Rock Band mods, they said no. Also, being established in a forum is more likely to get you votes, and I was a little bit more established here on SH and RB forums than, well, anywhere else.

If you have suggestions, I'd certainly be willing to accept them of course.
