using ion with upgrade on wii

what kit number or how do I use my ion kit with the upgrade kit on my wii playing rock band 3. I just have the midi cable plugged in through my world tour kit

Are you talking about the $399 set-up with the OSP MK-II brain?

im talking about the roadie one...from like rock band parts...and #3 works for guitar hero but not rock band
