Fucking awesome. How'd you get it? Jeff doesn't seem like the type to stick around for autographs.

We waited out behind the church he was playing at, hoping they were going to load stuff back into their van. Sure enough, he came out with a couple of his guitars and asked everyone if they wanted anything signed. I got my record signed and a friend of mine got her two shirts signed.
He's actually a really great guy. He was autographing stuff both before and after the show. He doesn't do pictures though, unfortunately. There was a no-picture or recording policy inside the venue, and if you were caught you were to be thrown out immediately.

This was the only show where he played Ghost (so far). At the others, he played Two Headed Boy Part 1 instead. _________________

Yup, that was me! We showed up there around 2 I think, and my dad waited for us until like 11:30. How far down the line were you? We were like, at the front almost. Just around the corner from the doors. _________________

we got there around 4 so we weren't that far from the door. It'd be easier to describe who I was if everyone there wasn't wearing glasses and the girl I was with wasn't covering her massive ITAOTS tattoo. But like, there was a gap in the line and then this crazy hipster looking guy kinda chillin there, we were next to him.
ummm... she was also wearing crazy shoes and i think i was the only guy there with a mountain goats shirt. That's all I can think of xD _________________

So I saw Jeff this past Tuesday in Baltimore and it was fucking awesome. Unlike any other concert experience I've ever been to. Just a man and his guitar in a small, cozy, run-down church...very intimate setting. Just a few hundred people, all of whom were die-hards. And the organizers prevented scalping by requiring the names on the tickets to match your photo ID...I kinda wish all shows were like this. Anyway, he sounded amazing and he was in a good mood which was great to see.

Today is the 14th birthday of Jeff and the gang's most popular album: In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. As you would expect, I'm enjoying it on vinyl in honor of today. I would expect quite a few others to do the same. _________________

Listening to the vinylrip since I don't own it on vinyl. Still sounds pretty good, of course. I still don't know that I have the appropriate words to describe this album. I'll just leave it at "amazing" and go back to listening to Ghost. _________________
